Filmmaker with over 8 years experience specialising in cinematic campaigns and documentary storytelling
Personal Statement
I’m a filmmaker and videographer with experience producing high quality content across corporate campaigns, documentary work and commercial projects. I currently work within the Communications team at Hampshire County Council, where I plan, shoot and edit video for public campaigns, major initiatives and digital platforms.
Alongside this, I take on freelance work producing documentary and brand films. This includes a motorsport documentary project following the development of a Jaguar F Type GT4 race car, which has been nominated for two awards and has given me the opportunity to work more deeply on storytelling and long form content.
My work focuses on strong visuals and storytelling, with an emphasis on making content feel considered and polished from concept through to final delivery. I’m used to managing projects end to end, and balancing quality with the pace needed for digital content.

Education and Work History
2022 - Current | Corporate Photographer and Filmmaker | Hampshire County Council
Through my work at Hampshire County Council, I’ve built a strong understanding of the full filmmaking process, from pre-production through to final delivery. I’ve worked as both Director of Photography and Director on television campaigns at a county-wide level, as well as covering a range of high-profile conferences.
I’ve also provided photography across a number of mid-budget digital and print campaigns within local government. This has involved working with audience data, trends and demographics to make sure content is relevant and targeted to the right people.
2019 - 2022 | BA (Hons) Media Production | Bournemouth University
Whilst working as a Freelancer, I achieved a Degree in Media Production from Bournemouth University (2:1). My film projects throughout this Degree all achieved first-class grades, with my cinematography and editing styles being complimented by industry leaders and lecturers.
2018 - 2023 | Director | 4K Media Limited
After graduating in 2018, I set up 4K Media Limited, a freelance company that gave me hands-on experience in account management, scheduling and working to tight deadlines across more than 50 clients. I produced visual content for a wide range of businesses, from interior designers and art galleries to technology companies, cafes, bars and restaurants.
2016 - 2018 | A Levels | Barton Peveril College
Media Studies, Film Studies and Sociology
2017 - 2018 | Marketing Assistant & Videographer | Quilter
For this placement, I was working alongside their HR Department to produce valuable training videos for internal use. I also generated ideas that helped with scheduling internal video content and graphic design.
2016 - 2017 | Media Assistant | Wildlife Worldwide
During this placement, I was responsible for selecting, downloading and filing a multitude of stock images and videos. I also made some highly commended tea and coffee!
Interests
I’ve recently finished leading a small team of three creatives on a documentary project following the underdog story of Newbarn Racing in the GT4 category. The film involved close collaboration with drivers, mechanics and the team principal, and gave me the opportunity to take on a wide range of responsibilities, from planning and organising shoots through to managing the logistics of the production.
I also worked as first camera operator and editor on the project, which has recently received Best Short Documentary and Best Web Series nominations at the Your Way International Film Festival.
